Keychain for Shed Makerspace

Shed Makerspace

The first makerspace recently opened in my city. Its called the Shed and they have an awesome logo, so I decided to make some key chains for them.

Here is how I did it.

Started with a line logo which was made with Adobe illustrator, using cloudconvert the file was converted to SVG so that it can be opened up with Inkscape and converted the object to path. After this the file was imported to Qcad and added the tabs and the whole and the body. Once the dxf was ready it was time for motion planning and generating the G-code, I used dxf2gcode. Once the g code was ready, I fed to EMC and then the steppers started turning. Below is a gallery showing the process. Feast your eyes!
