Prototyping Theremin
I always wanted to make a theremin, but instead of using capacitors I used a LDR there is no volume control right now, so just the pitch is controlled by using the analog input of arduino and using the tone library to generate the tones, but I found this doesn’t work well in different lighting condition so next I’ll incorporate my IR distance sensor design(blog coming later) which has signal conditioning and uses op-amps and stuff and works in most lighting conditions. I’m using a buzzer using a speaker will be nice and perhaps add different modulations so it sounds better.
