Can’t be productive in Electronics design? Try setting up your desk like this

When you have the right tools for the job, the process of making, becomes so much more enjoyable.

The table. It’s very important to have the right table height not only when working on the computer but also when you are soldering. Usually you need to table closer to your face when soldering and it needs different ergonomics than working on the computer.

Screen. If you are using one screen, you are really limiting yourself. When I started with two screens, the workflow became so smooth.

Mouse I used to use a cheap mouse that cost a couple of dollars. I took the plunge and got myself a $100 mouse back in 2018 the MX3, I still use it till date. It was so worth it in the long run. It has better ergonomics, and is really easy on the hands and I probably saved a thousands in medical costs vs spending $100 on it.

Clean up My workbench was alway a mess, I used to clean only when it got too overwhelming. I felt really good and satisfied after the clean up, it was like hitting F5 on my mind. Now I do this exercise at least once a week.

Macropad. This one is optional but an amazing tool to have. You can build one yourself. You know it’s amazing to use the thing every day that you built. There are so many options either you want to go diy or buy a route.
